On this page you can find links to a variety of pronunciation websites. Many of these are American. Don't forget to go to the listening section as many of the sites have transcripts of listening files. Listening, reading and repeating difficult words and phrases is a good one way to improve your pronunciation. You will probably have a microphone and sound card on your PC - so why don't you record yourself speaking and compare it with a native speaker?

If you are an international student at Nottingham you might be eligible for free pronunciation classes. To view the pronunciation courses available at Nottingham University click here. To view the CELE insessional individual consultation page click here.
